What painful irony. I'm glad you took care of yourself. I hope the creators of the course one day get the message, since it sounds like the course is not at all friendly to Black or Brown people, and also erroneously gives white people the notion that it's OK to talk about potentially traumatizing situations without consideration for how it might impact those most affected. I also appreciate your emotional labor in sharing this for me and others to learn.
