Michael Schundler I wish that the evidence that you point to proved your point — it doesn’t. White supremacy mythology and its effects are still deeply woven into the fabric of this country.
Here’s an article on some of the ways it plays out: https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/100-statistics-prove-systemic-racism-thing-kelly-burton-phd/
and here’s an article about the history of the invention of whiteness:

Unfortunately, the mere presence of people of African or Asian descent in a population or even in a position of power does not undo these systemic harms (there are Black and Brown white supremacists), and is not equivalent to a true reckoning with our white supremacist history of slaughtering and enslaving people of Indigenous and African descent. I think Rebecca points to the need for parents to balance encouraging children’s natural curiosity with educating them about what it means to live in a white supremacy mythology-based culture such as the U.S.

Sometimes people feel angry when they hear these truths, mainly because it goes against their most deeply held, often Christian, values (I myself am Jewish and also Christian-embracing). I would like to see us all unite in dismantling harmful white supremacy mythology and its ongoing effects *precisely because* those core human values are one thing most of us can unite on — doing unto others as we would have others do unto us.

Unfortunately, we’re not there yet. I can tell you have a good heart. Perhaps you could take some time, see what you think about some of the facts I’ve presented and how they stack up against your own values, and we could think together about the legacy we want to leave for our children’s children.
